Projects of packaging presented by Italian producing companies and creative agencies can participate in the 29th Vinitaly Design Award. Projects from foreign producing companies conceived by Italian designers are also allowed. The participating projects must refer to Wines, Spirits, Beers, Extra Virgin Olive Oils and must already be on sale or intended for sale on the market, with the exception of the “Limited Edition” and “Concept” categories, where promotional projects not intended for sale can also be entered. However, projects already entered in previous editions cannot be presented.
By manufacturing companies we mean those that have bottled and market the product in the package and are therefore indicated as such on the label. By project we mean everything that contributes to the packaging of the product: bottle, closure, capsule, label, back label, collar, pendant, seals, secondary packaging. Only these details will be subject to evaluation by the Jury.
An official trophy galvanized in different colors and designed to celebrate and honor designers and clients. The trophy will be awarded to the winners during the Gala Dinner, the closing evening of the edition
