Projects presented by companies producing wines, spirits, beers, extra virgin olive oils and by designers and advertising agencies from any country can participate in the 28th Vinitaly Design Award. From this year, designers and advertising agencies can also register projects. In the registration, the Producer and the creator of the Design must always be mentioned (Designer or Advertising Agency or if the project was created internally by the manufacturing company, the name of the Producer will be mentioned again).
By manufacturing companies we mean those that have bottled and market the product in the package and are therefore indicated as such on the label. By project we mean everything that contributes to the packaging of the product: bottle, closure, capsule, label, back label, collar, pendant, seals, secondary packaging. Only these details will be subject to evaluation by the Jury.
On the occasion of the renewal of the Vinitaly Design Award, we have created an official Trophy, galvanized in different colours, specifically designed to raise the prestige of the competition and to best honor designers and clients. The Trophy will be awarded to the winners during the Gala Dinner on April 13th at the Teatro Ristori in Verona.

LIQUEUR WINES
Packaging of fortified wines, such as Vermouth, Marsala, Vin Santo, Recioto, Passito, Porto, Sherry

Line of still or sparkling wines, beers, oils or spirits from 2 or more same category or mixed products, with the same family feeling.
LIMITED EDITION
Packaging of still or sparkling wines, beers, oils or spirits, made in limited quantities, or numbered, or projects for specific events even not intended for sale.
PRIVATE LABEL
Packaging of still or sparkling wines, beers, oils or spirits produced under third party brands
SECONDARY PACK
Packaging of secondary packaging for bottles such as cases, caskets, cartons, wooden boxes, tin packages etc.
CLEAR SPIRITS
Packaging of clear alcohol-based products such as Gin, Vodka, Grappa, Tequila, Sambuca, Clear liqueurs etc.
DARK SPIRITS
Packaging of dark alcohol-based products such as Bitter, Whisky, Rum, Amaro, Dark Liqueurs, etc.
EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL
Packaging of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, without container constraints.
