Vinitaly presents the world premiere tasting of Italian and Chinese wines made from the same grape varieties organized in collaboration with award-winning author Ian D’Agata, who lives and works in China, and Yumi Liu, Brand Manager for EMW wines and wine writer. Along with well-known Italian wine producers, the Chinese producers will be on hand to talk about Chinese viticulture and winemaking and to showcase the Chinese expressions of wines made with Italian native grapes (Aglainico, Barbera, Moscato Bianco, Sangiovese) and international ones (Chardonnay, Marselan, Petit Manseng, Pinot Noir). This is an absolutely unique opportunity to learn about and taste the up-and-coming wines of China, a country with over a thousand years of winemaking tradition.
