Honoring the Legacy of Ezio Rivella and his pivotal role in Italian winemaking

The tasting is dedicated to Ezio Rivella, former winemaker at Castello Banfi, who played a pivotal role in shaping the modern landscape of Italy’s wine production introducing innovative techniques and advocating for the use of indigenous grape varieties, like Sangiovese. His legacy lives on through the exceptional wines he crafted and the inspiration he provided to future generations of winemakers. Daniele Cernilli, Editor at Doctor Wine, will be joined by Riccardo Cotarella, Enrico Viglierchio, Rodolfo Maralli, and Gianpiero Scavino to lead the masterclass, paying tribute to his legacy.
