It is clear that in Italy the classic appellations have embarked on a path of enhancing micro-terroirs and crus. On the occasion of its 50th anniversary, the magazine Civiltà del bere is organising a tasting to explore this complex and fascinating subject, which enriches the oenological panorama of wines and places, each with its own identity and communicative strength.

Five historic appellations of considerable impact on international markets have been chosen, and for each of them two particularly significant interpreters of this phenomenon. In a journey of tasting and critical reflection, we will virtually travel to the territories of Barolo, Soave, Romagna Sangiovese, Chianti Classico and Etna.
