The spotlight will be on the Castelli di Jesi appellation, specifically Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Superiore and DOCG Castelli di Jesi Riserva. Following an explanation of the new quality pyramid of Verdicchio, which is anticipated to soar starting from the 2024 vintage, with a particular emphasis on prioritizing the territory’s name over the grape variety, the focus will shift to the tasting session. This will encompass 6 samples of various vintages and both types, showcasing the appellation’s hallmark trait: the harmonious blend of flavor and freshness, and significant aging potential. The wines will be from diverse terroirs and wineries of varying sizes, ranging from small boutique operations to larger establishments.
