For the past few decades, with an ever-growing recognition of tradition and cultural heritage, Chinese Baijiu has become a significant national identity. However, in recent years, especially when facing young generations and communities overseas, Chinese Baijiu struggles to express itself, and receives negative feedbacks: such as poor taste, strange style, outdated. Some of these come from inaccurate communication, and some from being preached based on outdated experience. What we see in the CBC course is that behind these concepts, there are potentially another billion new consumers.This masterclass will focus on 3 main categories of Baijiu (Strong/ Sauce/ Light aroma styles), key factors during production (grains, qu, fermentation vessels, blending, etc...), and a innovative look on Baijiu tasting skills.
