CUSTOZA: The Art of Blending

Custoza is the white wine produced in the hills between Verona and Lake Garda in Italy. It is produced with mainly three indigenous grapes: Garganega, Cortese and Trebbianello to which Incrocio Manzoni and other local varieties can be added. It is a wine with a delicate, floral and fruity bouquet with slightly aromatic hints and a strong territorial connotation. We will present this wine, its production and we will explain why we define it as a “contemporary blend” wine, great if enjoyed fresh, but with ageing potential. Custoza is a gastronomic wine, a great ally in the kitchen, versatile and pleasant from aperitif to pairing with complex dishes. We will taste the vintage Custoza DOC, the Custoza Superiore and also Riserva.
