Jacopo Fanciulli
Jacopo Fanciulli, Italian Wine Ambassador, expert in wine tasting, communication, marketing and promotion. Candidate for the Master of Wine. He holds a Master's Degree in Oenology and Oenological Marketing, and a Master's Degree in Gastronomic Sciences and Quality Products, the WSET Level 3 and is an Official AIS Sommelier and Taster. As a consultant he has been working for years with wineries both in the field of communication and that relating to work in the cellar and vineyard and as a Brand Ambassador for the development of foreign markets. He participates as a judge in the International Wine Challenge in London and in the Concours Mondial des Vins Extremes of Cervim.

An event that will allow you to explore the charms of western Liguria through its iconic wines. The Vite in Riviera business network will guide you to discover the grape varieties, terroirs and appellations that define this part of the country.
Western Liguria is famous for its breathtaking landscape and unique grape-growing characteristics. The vineyards lie on sun-kissed hillsides overlooking the sea, providing a perfect microclimate for wine production.
During the Masterclass, different grape varieties and appellations will be explored, with a focus on the following varieties and types:
• Vermentino Riviera Ligure di Ponente DOC: Characterized by freshness and delicate floral notes.
• Pigato Riviera Ligure di Ponente DOC: Distinguished for its aromatic bouquet and pleasant minerality.
• Vermentino Riviera Ligure di Ponente DOC Superiore: A more complex and structured version of Vermentino.
• Pigato Riviera Ligure di Ponente DOC Superiore: Greater intensity and body, ideal with seafood dishes.
• Granaccia Riviera Ligure di Ponente DOC: A full-bodied red wine with notes of ripe fruit and spices.
• Rossese Riviera Ligure di Ponente DOC: Elegant and light, perfect balance between tannins and acidity.
• Ormeasco di Pornassio DOC: A traditional red wine, rich in personality.
• Ormeasco di Pornassio DOC Sciac-tra: Lighter and fresher variant, ideal as an aperitif.
• Ormeasco di Pornassio DOC Superiore: More structured, with complex notes of red fruits.
• Rossese di Dolceacqua DOC: Refined, with delicate hints of fruit and spices, it surprises with its elegance.
Each participant will have the opportunity to taste a selection of these wines, guided Jacopo Fanciulli, Italian Wine Ambassador and Global Ambassador of Vite in Riviera, who will share the stories and techniques behind each bottle.
