Italy has long been viewed as primarily a country producing world-class red wines such as Amarone, Barolo and Brunello, and yet historically its white wines were just as important as the country’s reds, if not more so. More importantly, Italy’s white wines have never been better. In this exclusive masterclass led by Ian D’Agata, multi-award-winning wine writer and world-renowned authority on Italian wines, some of Italy’s greatest white wines will take center stage. Wines that are, as is typical of Italian wine, made in just about every nook and cranny of the country; in many different styles; at many different price points, from incredibly affordable to more expensive;  from all twenty regions; and made with very different grape varieties, many of which only twenty-five years ago risked disappearing altogether.
