TellyWine: the app that tells the story of Italian wine
Italian wine is synonymous with history, tradition, and quality, but its world is vast and complex. With 529 denominations and 420,000 different labels each year, navigating bottles, regulations, and technical characteristics can be a challenge, even for enthusiasts.
That's why TellyWine was created—an innovative app that leverages technology to serve Italian wine. Thanks to artificial intelligence and an advanced optical character recognition (OCR) system, it provides objective information about each bottle in just a few seconds: type, classification, organoleptic characteristics, production area, grape varieties, and much more.
Unlike other platforms, TellyWine does not rely on subjective reviews but offers verified and in-depth data, making it an essential tool for consumers, sommeliers, and producers. Additionally, each user can record their tastings, saving notes and ratings to remember the wines they’ve tried and the experiences they’ve had.
Available for free on smartphones, the app will officially debut at Vinitaly 2025, revolutionizing the way people discover and understand Italian wine. Every bottle tells a story—with TellyWine, that story comes to life and stays in memory.
