The Oltrepò Pavese is the largest Pinot Noir growing area in Europe after Burgundy. Through secondary fermentation using the traditional method, it produces a sparkling wine of exceptional quality: Oltrepò Pavese Metodo Classico Pinot Nero DOCG. With the recent approval of the regulation amendment, it will now bear the name Classese.
