Speaker - Dorli Muhr
Dorli Muhr

After graduating from the University of Vienna, where she studied languages and translating, Dorli Muhr founded a communication agency focused on wine and culinary products in 1991. Wine+Partners today is known for communicating high-end products from and around the world. The uniqueness of Wine+Partners are a very specialised international contact network on one hand, and more than 30 years of multinational experience on the other, which allows the agency to cover PR and communication for their clients on all continents, in different languages and in different culture zones. From Strategic Consulting to Media Relations, Online Marketing and Events, Wine+Partners covers all communications needs of brands in Wine, Food and Tourism.

Parallel to this, Dorli Muhr created a wine estate on the Spitzerberg in the easternmost part of Austria. Her wines, made mainly from the central European varietal Blaufränkisch, have set a new elegant, precise and lightfooted style of Austrian reds and rank among the highest-scoring wines of the country. Dorli hence knows the wine industry from all sides and in all details, which makes her a 360-degree consulting expert.

In September 2022, Dorli was elected to the Hall of Fame of Austria’s Event Marketing Board for creating outstanding wine events. In 2021, Dorli was elected as a testimonial for a TV and print campaign for Austria’s most successful Erste Bank, highlighting her pioneering concept of sustainable construction of a wine cellar. In 2024, Gault & Millau has awarded her Exceptional Winemaker of the Year. In 2020, Dorli has been awarded “Wine Hero of the Year” by the Dutch magazine Perswijn.

Dorli is a speaker and presenter at conferences, and contributes to publications on wine, taste and communication.
