After a career in the wine industry that took him from working as a Chef de Rang in fine-dining restaurants in Australia to serving as a fine wine manager and brand ambassador in the United States for Jermann and Lux Fine Wines (Jermann’s U.S. importer), Felix has proudly represented Friuli Venezia Giulia in key international markets for Italian wine. His experiences, including that of a Sommelier, inspired him to develop a personal style of wine communication.

Since 2020, he has been creating communication projects in the wine sector aimed at conveying the true identity of wine labels. Authenticity and truthfulness are the foundation of the storytelling he offers to the companies he collaborates with, aligning with current trends to communicate unique experiences while boosting digital brand awareness and driving business growth.

With over a decade of experience as Head Sommelier in some of Europe’s top Michelin-starred restaurants, in 2020 he shifted his focus entirely to the communication and promotion of wineries. Through engaging content shared across his Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube channels, he has built a community of more than 300,000 wine enthusiasts.

Over the years, @Trotterwine has become a key reference point for global wine companies, thanks to its outstanding communication and distinctive content, now translated into four languages: English, Italian, Spanish, and French. His exceptional success has made him the only content creator in the wine industry to collaborate with wineries from over 40 countries, establishing him as the most-followed wine influencer in the world. In 2023, he was awarded ‘Content Creator of the Year’ at the Italy Ambassador Awards and was recognized by _Corriere Della Sera_ as one of the 15 people revolutionizing the wine industry.

In 2024, he was given the Best Wine Creator in Italy award at Vinòforum and recently won the recognition of Best Wine Communciator In The World at the VinoInfluencers World Awards. He also published his first book, _In un mondo di-vino_, in collaboration with Mondadori, where he introduces readers to the basics of wine and highlights the wineries visited during his World Wine Tours in 2022 and 2023. The book won the prestigious Vesta Literary Award for ‘Best Narrative.’

Among his long-standing collaborations are partnerships with global brands such as Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy (LVMH), Coravin, Les Crus Bourgeois, Signorvino, Gérard Bertrand Group, and Catawiki Wine Section. His work has consistently delivered outstanding results, with 98% of his projects translating into increased sales, greater visibility on social media, and enhanced brand awareness for the wineries.
