Speaker - Silvia Franco
Silvia Franco

She studied Interior Design in Milan and interned with various architecture and design firms. In 2006, after starting the AIS sommelier course, she decided to return to Valdobbiadene to join the family business, Nino Franco Spumanti, working alongside her father Primo and mother Annalisa, who has been managing the hospitality establishment Villa Barberina since 2008.
As the fourth generation of a wine-producing family, she began her hands-on training, obtaining her AIS diploma and attending various training courses and masterclasses at Unindustria Treviso and SDA Bocconi to deepen her understanding of the business and production systems. Education has remained a key aspect since the beginning of her career, including systemic leadership training aimed at improving the company’s operations.She enhanced her wine knowledge and technique by participating in WSET Level 2 and 3 courses. From the outset, she has been involved in the commercial sector, both nationally and internationally, traveling to various markets where Nino Franco has a strong presence. Her early exposure to the world has allowed her to broaden her professional experience. Over the years, she has engaged with different areas of the business and currently handles commercial activities, organizational management, internal and external relations, and overall management.

Marina Cvetic

Born in Belgrade, Marina Cvetic Masciarelli spent her youth across Croatia, Austria, and Germany. In 1987, she met Gianni Masciarelli, establishing with him an exceptionally strong personal and professional bond. Marina played a major role in expanding and internationalizing the company Gianni founded, initially focusing on managing foreign markets. Over the years, she has also led the development of new products and brands, dedicating herself increasingly to implementing a managerial approach to the business. Recently included in Forbes Italia’s “Top 100 Successful Women” of 2024, Marina is now the sole director of Masciarelli Tenute Agricole. She divides her time between Abruzzo and Milan, working tirelessly to promote a philosophy of craftsmanship and sustainability within her company. “Land, vines, and sky are life’s therapy” is one of her most frequently quoted phrases.

Aldo Vajra

In 1968, Aldo Vajra is just 15 years old when he becomes the only person of his generation to leave his hometown of Turin and return to cultivate his family’s land in Barolo. His journey defies conventional paths: he obtains the first organic certification in the region in 1971, pioneers massal selections on lesser-known grape varieties in 1979, rediscovers Freisa, and initiates the first cultivation of Riesling in Piedmont in 1985. Today, he manages G.D. VAJRA alongside his wife Milena, their children, and a talented team. Aldo is also an Italian member of UGM (Union des Gens de Métier).

Alberto Lusini

Alberto Lusini is an experienced C-level with two decades of experience in the Italian Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, particularly in the beverage sector, with an international background. He holds a Master of Science in Engineering and an MBA, both obtained from the University of Bologna. His extensive experience and academic background make him a highly qualified professional in the field, capable of successfully managing complex projects and business operations on an international scale. His strategic leadership and innovative capabilities have contributed to the success of the companies he has worked for, showcasing his management skills and commitment to excellence. Prior to joining the Angelini Group as the head of Angelini Wines & Estates, he served as the CEO of the American business unit, MZB USA, for Massimo Zanetti Beverage Group S.p.A. In the wine industry, he has held director positions in leading companies such as Mezzacorona, Allegrini, and Gruppo Lunelli-Ferrari.

Speaker - Adolfo Rebughini
Adolfo Rebughini

Adolfo Rebughini holds a degree in Economics and Financial Markets Institutions from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and a Strategic Human Resources Leadership certificate from eCornell University.

In 2007, he left PricewaterhouseCoopers to join the UniCredit Group, initially in the retail division. Later, he served as an International Industrial Relations Officer and Program Manager.

In 2014, he relocated to Munich, becoming Head of Human Resources for the Global Financing and Advisory, Family Office, and CIB France sectors. After completing this role in 2018, he returned to Milan as the HR Director for UniCredit’s Group Digital area, responsible for human resources, the development of digital skills, and strategic projects.

In early 2023, he embraced a new challenge in the trade fair industry, becoming the Chief Operating Officer of Veronafiere. By June 2024, he was appointed General Manager of the company.
