Wine is not just a product in Italy; it is a cultural treasure that embodies the country’s history, social customs, and regional identities. However, this way of life faces significant threats from climate change, economic pressures, cultural shifts, regulatory challenges, and technological advancements. Preserving the rich heritage of Italian wine requires a balance between innovation and tradition, sustainability, and maintaining the cultural and social practices that make Italian wine unique. Join Andrea Eby, Italian Programs Director at Wine Scholar Guild as we discuss the role that education can play in the preservation of wine culture.
