After the special edition of 2023, featuring the masterclass in collaboration with ITA/ICE Agency and directed by the only Chinese Master Sommelier, Yang LV, in 2024 Vinitaly made its return to Chengdu in its original format, the Fuorisalone of CFDF, with a national pavilion and a series of top-level masterclasses. It took place in two downtown hotels: the Shangri-la and the Niccolo.
Ten years after the first edition of the Fuorisalone in Chengdu, Vinitaly returned to the Panda City in what is considered by observers the national reference fair for the wine and spirits sector. Italy ranks third as an exporter of still wine and second for the sparkling wine category.
As of December 1, 2023, Italian citizens intending to stay in China for a maximum of 15 days no longer require an entry visa.
